Yamaha & Laney Thailand Guitar online Competition 2013

First Round

1. All genders and ages are welcome.
2. Candidates will have to play the guitar with or without the Backing Track. (Any genres of music are acceptable.) Also, candidates are free to choose to perform their new composed songs or the cover songs of any Artists.
3. In the first round, candidates can use any types of Yamaha Guitar or any models of Laney Guitar Amplifies. However, only Yamaha Guitar and Laney Guitar Amplifies must be used in the quarter final round. (The contest organizer will provide the mentioned types of guitar on the contest date if the candidates are unable to bring their own guitars.)
4. Candidates must record one song of your own live play continuously without editing into VDO Clip with audio within the length of not over than 6 minutes and upload via Website YouTube, then bring the URL Link to join the contest.   
5. Candidates can take part in the contest for only one song per one candidate.
6. The contest organizer reserves the rights to delete any VDO Clip which is against the moral, religious and politic or includes any inappropriate behavior without prior notice.
7. Candidates can submit the VDO Clip from 1 March 2013 to 30 June 2013. The final 8 candidates will be selected by committee on 15 July 2013.

Final Round

 

1. The 8 finalists will have to come to play live in Yamaha & Laney Present Bangkok Music Fair 2013 in Bangkok Thailand on 7 September 2013. (If the finalists cannot attend the live show in all cases, will be deemed waived. The contest organizer and committee will consider the candidates with second lower score to be entitled to representation.)
2. The 8 finalists in case of their residences are not in Thailand or in Thailand but are in upcountry within the distance of more than 250 KM will be provided the benefits as follows;
   • The plane ticket for one person (at true cost but not exceeding 20,000 baht).
   • Domestic travel in Thailand involving the contest.
   • One hotel room for not over than 2 nights depending on the suitability of the flight.   
   • All meals for one person.
      
3. Candidates must use the same song as played in Clip VDO that was submitted to the contest.
4. If candidates are unable to meet the schedules of the contest organizer. The contest organizer reserves the rights to cancel or suspend the show without prior notice.
